Asthma campaign hires ad agency to undertake review

National Asthma Campaign has appointed marketing agency Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw to conduct a review of its brand and marketing strategy.

The charity has handed the agency the task of undertaking a review of its communications and marketing strategies. Kitcatt Nohr will also conduct research into the perceptions of the key stakeholder groups.

Results taken from the review will then be used to create a new brand positioning aimed at appealing to asthma sufferers and those working in the field. The charity supports the UK's five million asthma suffers.

"The objective is to focus on what we are uniquely able to do for people with asthma," said Simon Stanley, marketing director at National Asthma Campaign. "We will review our current communication and fundraising practices."

Kitcatt Nohr currently provides marketing services for international development charity Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO).
