Ball skills

England footballers Jermaine Defoe, Ledley King, Phil Neville and Joe Cole kicked off the Keep your Eye on the Ball campaign, which urges men to "check your balls for irregular lumps". The campaign, which is run by the Institute of Cancer Research, the Football Association and the Professional Footballers' Association, was launched after research discovered 84 per cent of men felt they were less well informed than women about cancer and only 19 per cent regularly check themselves for possible signs of testicular cancer. Professional footballers Neil Harris, Alan Stubbs, Craig Forrest and Jason Cundy have all had testicular cancer.
