This panoramic photo of Druridge Bay in Northumberland is part of a Wildlife Trusts project to promote its Living Landscape conservation schemes.

The landscape photographer Mike McFarlane will be taking shots of more than 100 different schemes as part of a year-long project to produce interactive 360-degree panoramas.

The pictures, which will be on display in visitor centres and on the charity’s website, will be accompanied by background soundtracks recorded during McFarlane’s visits.
