The competition is run as a tribute to four humanitarian workers who were murdered working for the charity in the field: Flors Sirera, Luis Valtueña and Manuel Madrazo in Rwanda, and Mercedes Navarro in Bosnia-Herzegovina. It invites amateur and professional photographers to capture scenes of humanity and solidarity that they have witnessed first-hand during the past 12 months.
The charity provides medical health care to vulnerable people around the world.
