Business groups combine forces

Mathew Little

Business education charities the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship and businessdynamics have merged.

A name for the new charity has yet to be decided, but both charities will retain their individual brand identities.

Businessdynamics delivers educational programmes in school and colleges, taught by volunteers from 2,000 businesses. NFTE teaches students to develop and operate their own small businesses.

David Millar, chief executive of businessdynamics, said: "Charities in education need scale, and this merger will give the combined organisation more support and resources to increase young people's understanding of business and the possibility of each of them starting their own company."
