The Charities Aid Foundation has rebranded its Give As You Earn fundraising scheme to encourage more employees to take part.

Give As You Earn enables employees to give directly to charity from their pre-tax pay.

The new design has been launched to help companies promote the scheme to their employees. It features sketches of causes supported by CAF and quotes from donors. It will be rolled out across the various marketing materials, including posters, leaflets and brochures.

Sheila Hooper, executive director of marketing at CAF, said she hoped the campaign would boost donations to charities "at a time when they most need it".

She said: "This new look is designed to make Give As You Earn more inviting and engaging. In a recent survey asking charities what would most help them through the recession, promotion of tax-effective and workplace giving ranked highly."

The materials can be downloaded from an online toolkit produced by CAF's marketing team and design firm Page Nine. CAF is also planning to launch a direct mail campaign in May to promote the scheme.
