Carnegie UK Trust is to launch a new programme to provide advice and good practice on involving young people in public decision making.
In a shift in direction, the charity is satisfied that its initial objective for organisations to commit to involving young people in local decision making has been met.
The three-year programme, which launched this week, will concentrate on providing support to individuals and organisations active in the field.
It will also focus on young people's awareness and access to information, bringing together young people and participation workers to thrash out good practice and development, as well as monitoring and evaluation to identify good practice for forthcoming reports.
