Catherine Miles joins Breast Cancer Now

Breast Cancer Now has appointed Catherine Miles as director of fundraising. She will join in June from the same role at the blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan.

Steve McIvor has been promoted to chief executive of World Animal Protection. He was the charity's global director of programmes and has been acting chief executive since the departure of Mike Baker last September.

Imran Khan, chief executive of the British Science Association, has been appointed as head of public engagement at the charitable foundation the Wellcome Trust.

Young Epilepsy, which supports children and young people with epilepsy and associated conditions, has appointed Vicki Kennedy as director of fundraising and external relations. She was co-director of the National Lottery Promotions Unit.

Kate Phipps (left) has become chief executive of the children's hospice Ty Hafan. She joined from the same role at the John Taylor Hospice in Birmingham.

Nancy Doyle has been appointed as executive director of the Virgin Money Foundation. She will join in the summer from Oasis Aquila Housing, where she is currently the chief executive.

Clare Scott Booth has been appointed as chief executive of the Sheppard Trust, which provides sheltered housing for older women. She joins from the same role at YMCA West London.

The cancer charity Penny Brohn UK has appointed Marian Naidoo as head of services. She was the dementia development lead at United Response, a charity that supports people with learning or physical disabilities or mental health needs.

The Girls Friendly Society, which supports girls and young women in the UK, has appointed Paul Rompani as executive director. He previously held the same role at the youth development charity Mentor International.

NCT, which provides support and advice for parents and prospective parents, has appointed Juliet Mountford as executive director of parent services. She was director for innovation and insight at the British Red Cross.

The armed forces charity SSAFA has appointed Tegan Jones as director of fundraising. He was head of fundraising at St John Ambulance.

Jonathan Beck (right) has joined the medical charity Worldwide Cancer Research as chief financial officer. He was an angel investor.
