CCLA to launch new global equity fund

Third sector investment specialist CCLA will next week launch a new fund offering a diversified portfolio of high-yield international equities.

The Global Equity Income Fund will give charities exposure to growth in the global economy without risking focus on any one market. "We have been around a lot of charities asking what they want," said James Bevan, chief investment officer at CCLA. "This will give charities the opportunity to fish in a wider, deeper pool."

He said the product would be appropriate for permanently endowed charities that needed to balance current needs with growth for the future.
