Celebrity snappers

Homelessness prevention charity Alone in London hopes to raise £50,000 through an exhibition of photographs taken by celebrities conveying 'their London'. '30:30 A Vision of London' will be staged at the Association of Photographers Gallery in London from 2-6 December.

Actor Alan Rickman took this photo; other contributors included the charity's patron Emma Thompson, fellow actors Simon Callow and Samantha Bond, and former Beatle Ringo Starr. All 30 photographers signed their photos and nine reprints. A private auction of the signed originals will be held at the gallery on 3 December, while the reprints will be sold on the charity's website, www.als.org.uk.
