Who is your chair?
Tony Hobson, chair of Northern Foods and of business management services company the Sage Group.
Who else is on the board?
Changing Faces has 14 trustees. We've always had a multi-disciplinary team, including doctors, lawyers and accountants.
When does the board meet?
Quarterly, usually with one extra meeting in the year with a broader strategic planning agenda.
When was your last governance review?
The autumn and winter of 2005/06. It was a comprehensive overhaul of our governance, strategy and management structure, all of which have been working smoothly since.
How do you recruit new trustees?
Open advertising supported by word of mouth, our website and networking. The chair is recruited by a network search and headhunter support.
What is the biggest issue that the board is currently grappling with?
It's looking at how to sustain and develop existing programmes, given funding uncertainties, at the same time as developing aspirational new projects and programmes - including extending the charity's international influence.
