Charities are being offered the chance to acquire licences for the latest version of Microsoft Office at a fraction of its list price.
The eligibility criteria include being a registered UK charity or housing association and working in areas such as the advancement of education, social and community welfare or providing relief to the poor.
Eligible charities can apply for a licence for the standard version of Office for an administration fee of £15, or the professional version for £20. The CTT said this represented a saving of about 95 per cent on the commercial list price.
The latest version of Microsoft Office includes Skydrive, which provides remote access to a shared drive.
Richard Craig, chief executive of CTT, said: "Having access to the most up-to-date software helps charities to run at optimal efficiency. Our partnerships with companies such as Microsoft mean we can offer eligible members of our CTXchange programme the advantages that access to the latest technology brings."
