Rare photographic prints will be going under the hammer next Tuesday in aid of the international charity PhotoVoice.

Images taken by photographer Simon Norfolk, from the series The Military Oaks of Blenheim Palace Gardens, are among the rare prints that will be put up for auction at this year’s annual event.

The charity, which develops projects to empower marginalised people to take their own photographs, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

The Auction of Exceptional Photographs will also feature work by photographers such as Sarah Moon, Eve Arnold and George Rodger.

The auctioneer at this year’s event will be the author, life peer and former MP Jeffrey Archer, and the auction is being hosted by Reuters.
