It suggests nominations for people who have run a marathon in aid of charity or who have cared for local people. The torch relay will begin on 19 May 2012 and will cover thousands of miles in the UK.

Nominations can be made online at The deadline is 12 September.

Lloyds TSB is putting together a panel of judges, which could include at least one Olympian, to judge the nominations.
