A new voluntary sector coalition to fight discrimination and promote human rights in Scotland was formed last week.
The Scottish Voluntary Sector Equality and Human Rights Coalition comprises more than 60 groups brought together by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).
The coalition will campaign for legal changes and strive to shift public attitudes.
Louise Carlin, equalities manager at the SCVO, said: "The voluntary sector in Scotland is uniquely placed to help tackle discrimination.
"Voluntary sector organisations represent all of the groups of people who currently face discrimination, and through our work with society at large we can help to change prevailing attitudes towards these individuals and groups in Scotland today."
