COMMUNICATIONS NEWS: Broadway runs web info service for the capital's homeless

Broadway is launching an online campaign to help homeless people take advantage of free activities around London to help them build confidence and engage with different communities.

The 'London for Less' campaign includes an online database of information about free activities in London, and is part of the charity's ongoing programme to provide homeless people with a broad range of internet services.

Details of free activities including, libraries, parks and events are listed on www.itsyourmove.co.uk.

"For those with no permanent address, information is hard to come by," said Howard Sinclair, chief executive at Broadway.

The charity is also involving homeless people in the writing and research needed to keep the campaign up to date.
