COMMUNICATIONS NEWS: Digital channel gets go-ahead to show ITV interiors series

The Community Channel has won the rights to broadcast With a Little Help from My Friends, the celebrity-assisted, charity-premises renovation series which aired on ITV1 this month.

In the three shows, actor Neil Morrissey, former England cricketer Phil Tufnell and socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson joined presenter Linda Barker to spruce up the environs of Kids Company, the London Community Cricket Association and a home for Children with Leukaemia.

The channel will also screen The Legacy, featuring interviews with each charity's volunteers.

"It's great that we've got the rights to re-broadcast the series ," said Jane Mote, controller of the Community Channel. "Seeing celebrities pull out all the stops for a charity is inspiring stuff."
