COMMUNICATIONS NEWS: Face it

The National Aids Trust will launch its first major England-wide anti-discrimination campaign in November this year. The "Are you HIV prejudiced?

campaign will run in national newspapers and radio, and focus on discrimination in the workplace, from friends and family and in medical settings. It aims to get people to think about their own levels of prejudice towards people living with HIV, to raise awareness of prejudice as an issue and in the long term, and change the attitudes of people who are prejudiced.

The National Aids Trust is developing its campaigning work around three main areas: stigma and discrimination; complacency around HIV/Aids; and treatment and prevention.
