The National Kidney Research Fund is gearing up for its second National Drink Water Day, to be held on 4 June.
The annual event is part-funded by Water UK, the umbrella group of regional water companies, and the office water dispenser manufacturer PHS Waterlogic.
Its purpose is to push the message that drinking more water can reduce the risk of urinary infections, bladder cancer and kidney stones.
Last year, the charity distributed crates of bottled water supplied both by the water companies and brands belonging to The National Mineral Water Association.
The event gained a lot of media coverage with spokespeople for The National Kidney Research Fund giving 30 radio interviews in two days.
