Leonard Cheshire is to run a series of free seminars starting this month to promote effective marketing to disabled consumers.
Aimed at corporate marketing departments and advertising agencies, the seminars are part of the charity's ongoing Visability programme, and will show how to best ensure that marketing communication is relevant to and appropriate for disabled customers.
The first, 'Disabling Prejudice Report: Attitudes Towards Disability and its Portrayal', will be held at Capital Radio, London on 10 June.
It will show how portrayals of disability and disabled people can seriously affect marketing plans.
There will be further seminars in July and October.
