COMMUNICATIONS NEWS: Oxfam gives web site image update

Oxfam is to redesign and restructure its web site to make it easier for different groups of users to find the information they need.

"Since the site was designed three years ago, we have dramatically increased our activity on the web and we plan to expand further in the future," said Rachael Gray, new media and internet manager of Oxfam.

Digital media agency Nykris has been appointed to complete the work.

Managing director Philip Read said: "We will be reviewing the look and feel of the site and making sure that Oxfam can add micro sites and extend the site flexibly in the future."

The relaunch is part of a larger exercise to improve the brand's identity by reviewing the type of language and imagery used in its communications.
