COMMUNICATIONS NEWS: Sven signs up for fight against cancer

England head football coach Sven Goran Eriksson took time out from World Cup preparations to urge football clubs to join the fight against testicular cancer. Eriksson is supporting "Keep Your Eye on the Ball", an initiative organised jointly by Cancer Research UK, The Institute of Cancer, The Football Association and the Professional Footballers Association. Posing with the campaign's signature "lumpy ball", Eriksson said: "Because this form of cancer threatens men of football-playing age in particular, it is very important to know the facts, be responsible and not hesitate to seek medical advice.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer among men aged 18 to 35.
