A new trust plans to donate £100,000 worth of media skills to charities in the coming year to help them make professional campaigning films.
The Cornerstone Films and Media Trust is the charitable arm of Cornerstone Films.
It will offer the skills of 50 professional media contacts who are willing to donate their time to make films for charities.
The trust's director, Deborah Helsby, said that it could make about six films next year.
Each will cost £20,000-£25,000 to make, of which the trust will provide up to £15,000.
The charities will be required to stump up "a few thousand pounds to show their commitment", said Helsby, and any shortfall will be raised by the trust from other grant givers.
