Communications News: TV's Davina McCall backs CSV scheme

TV presenter Davina McCall has endorsed volunteering body CSV's latest 'how-to' kit, which provides ideas on how people can give their time on 'Make A Difference Day'.

McCall has lent her name and image to a recycling kit that contains ideas on how to recycle household items from foreign coins and stamps, to old mobile phones and spectacles, in support of local communities.

The six kits, which include a Ground Force-backed sensory garden design, are available at www.csv.org.uk/difference.

The website is being promoted to individuals, groups, and companies, and in Take A Break magazine, its media partner, ahead of the day on 30 October.
