'Cranfield Experience' on offer to third sector

The Cranfield Trust is offering scholarships to exceptional third sector candidates who want to complete MBAs.

Middle and senior managers of European charities involved in poverty, disability or social exclusion are eligible to apply to take part in what the trust is calling the “Cranfield Experience.”

“We feel we’re one of the top business schools in the UK, and we appreciate that we’re one of the more expensive ones,” said Maureen Williams, a spokesperson for Cranfield. “Sometimes it’s hard for some of the less well-paid sectors to afford the programme. That’s why we decided to grant scholarships.”

The trust, which offers the scheme in cooperation with the Cranfield School of Management, started the scholarship programme in 2004. Each year it offers two full scholarships and some partial funding.

The deadline for the next cycle is 31 October. Applicants can contact the school at 01234 758412 or visit online at www.som.cranfield.ac.uk/som/mba/applications.
