Delegates to learn through role play

Delegates to this year's International Fundraising Congress in the Netherlands can sign up to improve their skills through role play.

One interactive session will be about recruiting major donors. Delegates will also use a database to work on strategy development.

The classes will be run by congress organiser the Resource Alliance, and will last for two days before the congress starts.

Alan Bird, marketing and communications director at the Resource Alliance, said: "At these sessions there's no hiding at the back of the class." The conference takes place in October.
