Depaul Trust takes on comms chief to raise project funds

Homelessness charity the Depaul Trust has appointed its first communications director as part of a plan to expand the charity's work.

Kieran Kettleton has become the charity's director of communications and fundraising, a role created in recognition of the growing importance of communications.

Kettleton, who joins from Arthritis Care where he was director of communications, will be responsible for increasing the charity's profile and boosting its annual income from £1.3m to £1.7m in order to fund development plans.

"The Depaul Trust has exciting plans for new projects to help young people avoid falling into the trap of homelessness and we are committed to an integrated communications and fundraising strategy to help us achieve this," said Kettleton.
