The co-founder of children's charity The Dream Foundation has been jailed for five years for siphoning off around £100,000 of money from the organisation.
Joseph Mulcahy founded the charity for terminally ill children in 1994 with former police officer David Foley. Foley and Maureen Lewis, Mulcahy's wife, were convicted of conspiring to defraud the charity and sentenced to one year and 21 months respectively.
The Charity Commission said it was considering the future of the charity and has brought its inquiry to a close.
