Dylan Mathews appointed chief executive of Peace Direct

Peace Direct, which supports peacebuilding in conflict zones, has appointed Dylan Mathews as chief executive. He has joined from Y Care International, an international development agency.

English National Opera has appointed Cressida Pollock as its interim chief executive. She joins from the management consultancy McKinsey & Company, where she was an associate.

The children's charity Make-A-Wish UK has appointed Jason Suckley as chief executive. He was previously director of fundraising and communications at Sue Ryder.

St John's Hospital, which runs almshouses in Bath, has made Sue Porto chief executive. She is currently chief executive of the children's literacy charity Beanstalk and will start in May.

Bridget Gardiner is the new executive director of The Brokerage Citylink, which gives students professional opportunities in the City. She moves from the Epilepsy Society.

The Scout Association has made Mark Hislop its new commercial director. He moves from the Somerset House Trust.
