Entries open for National Lottery Awards

Charity projects funded by National Lottery good causes money are being invited to compete for a feature spot on a BBC programme and a £2,000 prize.

Charities can apply to take part in the annual National Lottery Awards, now in their fifth year. There are seven categories: sport, arts, heritage, environment, health, education and charity/voluntary.

Any lottery-funded project can enter or be nominated. To enter, visit www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk or call 0845 130 4133. The deadline for entries and nominations is 5pm on 20 March. A shortlist will be drawn up for the finals and winners will be announced live on air later in the year.
