Eyes on the prize

A pair of six-feet-high prosthetic eyeballs signed by the members of seminal rock group Pink Floyd are being auctioned to raise money for homelessness charity Crisis.

A photograph of the eyeballs was used on the cover of the band’s DVD Pulse. The eyeballs will be auctioned on eBay between 14 and 20 December.

David Gilmour, guitarist and singer of Pink Floyd, who is a long-term supporter of Crisis, said: “The eBay auction will not only raise much needed funds for the charity but will also raise awareness of the plight of the homeless at a time of year when they are most vulnerable.”
