Finance: NACVS combines roles in new post

The National Association of Councils for Voluntary Service has combined finance and fundraising roles in a new post.

Julie Moorby, formerly the finance manager at youth work charity Endeavour Training, has been appointed to the position of director of resources and income generation.

"The NACVS recognises the financial pressures on voluntary and community organisations and realises the need for national organisations to generate their own incomes independently of their members," she said.

Moorby has previously worked for regeneration charity the Manor and the Castle Development Trust.

"My involvement as a volunteer in grass-roots organisations has been invaluable in keeping me in touch with the needs and expectations of community organisations at all levels," she added.
