Member charities of chief executives' body Acevo are to be offered advice on improving the benefits they offer to staff.
Financial advice company Millfield has developed a service, known as Third Finance, which analyses charities' existing benefits to employees, recommends changes and communicates the advantages to the workforce.
Under a deal with Acevo, Millfield has agreed to provide up to £5,000-worth of free consultancy time to review the employee benefits of Acevo member charities with more than 50 staff.
The review will examine the cost of each benefit and its compatibility with current and future legal requirements, gauge the usage of each service, and evaluate the value the charities' employees place on the benefits package.
Millfield also offers advice on closing final-salary pension schemes, savings and investments and key-person insurance.
