Charity investment manager Chiswell Associates has outperformed other charity fund portfolios over the last 10 years, according to WM Charity Fund Service.
Chiswell outperformed the WM median benchmark over the last 10 years in UK equities, overseas equities and total assets not including property, according to WM, which measures the performance of UK charity funds managed by 40 investment managers.
For UK equities, Chiswell outpaced both the WM median and the FTSE All-Share Index median over each five-year period of the last 10 years.
David Kidd, chief investment officer at Chiswell, said the firm's results were based on an experienced team looking for long-term results and who were unswayed by the latest investment fads.
"We don't try to be clever. Many people are obsessed with short-term performance, but you have to resist it,
