The Charity Finance Directors' Group is staging a series of IT seminars for charities.
Aimed at organisations that are based on more than one site, the seminars will advise on how to plan and assess finance systems. They will also cover IT project management.
The seminars, which begin with a session on finance systems on November 25 in London, are aimed at groups of 40 delegates.
"Getting finance information right is at the core of a charity's success. How IT can support this is a major issue for a lot of our members," said CFDG deputy chief executive David Membrey.
The events, which chiefly target senior finance staff, are also open to non-finance staff such as IT directors and senior project managers so that people in finance and IT can learn more about each other's roles and where they interact. Dates for the programme in 2005 will be announced within the next two months.
