The Charities Property Fund, the common investment fund registered in 2000, has launched a new website featuring facts and figures about property investment. It also includes an archive of articles on property investment.
Charles Mesquita, charities specialist at fund manager Carr Sheppards Crosthwaite said the site was a proactive attempt to keep investors informed rather than a "dreadful brochure dump". He said: "We want to turn it into a reference point for people who want to find out more about property."
The Charities Property Fund has more than £100m invested and posted a return of 10.3 per cent in 2002, compared to an average of 8.5 per cent for property unit trusts.
Last year, fund management firm CCLA launched a rival property fund for the charities market.
