An investment firm is running a new research project intended to shed light on the attitudes of charity trustees and governors toward financial issues such as investment policies and pension plans.
The survey, which is being run by investment consultancy firm Watson Wyatt, will ask trustees their views on various issues such as investment policy, disbursement and personnel.
"We believe that voluntary sector trustees and pension fund trustees can learn a lot from each other and we hope the new research will lead to a lively discussion about some of the financial issues that trustees have to deal with," said Bruce Wraight, spokesman for Watson Wyatt.
Watson Wyatt is launching similar surveys in Germany, Switzerland and Italy to provide a pan-European perspective.
Trustees who would like to be involved in the research should contact Mirko Cardinale at firstname.lastname@example.org. com, or call 01737 274584.
