More than 500 social enterprises and support organisations in London feature on a new web site for Social Enterprise London.
They form the Beeline Social Enterprise Directory, which contains information from the most detailed mapping of the social enterprise sector in London.
"We recognised the great potential demand for such a service both within and outside the social enterprise sector and our goal has been to provide a user-friendly learning experience starting from the enquirer's needs, perspective and knowledge base,
said Social Enterprise London's information services manager, Cathryn Frail.
The web site, www.sel.org.uk, also supports the organisation's clusters project which encourages networking among "virtual clusters
of social enterprises in childcare, health and social care.
Social Enterprise London's director Jonathan Bland said: "The innovative Clusters Project represents the first virtual space where groups of social enterprises with common interests can come together to share information.
