Funderfinder's People in Need program launched online

System matches beneficiaries with funders

A charity that helps to match people in need with trusts and foundations has extended its services online.

Funderfinder's People in Need software has been available for installation on computers for more than 10 years. The program compares the specific needs of individuals against a database of UK funders and comes up with a list of potential sources of assistance.

Funderfinder has now launched an online version of the service, meaning anyone can pay to access it. Fees for using the service start at £5.50 for 24 hours' access and yearly subscriptions start at £100.

"It will particularly benefit people who are isolated socially or geographically and can't just go to an organisation that has the program," said Jo Habib, director of Funderfinder.

Funderfinder's service that sources funding for groups in need would be next to go online, Habib added.
