FUNDRAISING NEWS: Fantasy league to urge school giving

A fresh attempt to encourage schools to contribute to charity is being launched by Schools Fantasy League, the football management game played by 50,000 pupils in 1,000 schools.

The league is inviting the schools to apply for 12 awards of £250 by giving details of how they support a charity in their local community and what their plans are for the future.

This Charity Award Programme aims to support Giving Nation, an initiative by The Giving Campaign to support the citizenship curriculum in schools.
