FUNDRAISING NEWS: Five Live to auction footballers' shirts

Radio Five Live is to auction football shirts donated by celebrities from the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money for causes in South Africa.

The auction is part of the station's 'shirt amnesty' event, which was launched to coincide with the England football team's friendly match against South Africa on 22 May.

Donations from celebrities including footballers Gianfranco Zola and Dion Dublin and snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan will be sold to the highest bidder.

Radio Five listeners also donated 15,000 shirts, which will be sent to fans in South Africa.
