FUNDRAISING NEWS: Help the Aged sets up mag promotion

Help the Aged has struck a cause-related marketing deal with the publisher of Home and Garden Monthly magazines.

The charity will promote discounted subscription rates for six of Highbury-SPL's best-selling magazines in its charity shops across the country, in return for a £5 donation for every subscription generated.

The scheme will be tested for six months and may be expanded to include a wider range of titles.

"The magazine titles on offer are well-targeted to our customer base as well as our volunteers,' said Help the Aged spokesperson Antony Waller.
