The "Rainbow of Hope
wants to raise funds through an in-store initiative that will operate across the retailer's 312 stores nationwide in May.
Children will be invited to place their hopes and dreams for the next 50 years on to a Rainbow of Hope at their nearest store.
The retailer plans to donate £1 to the education charity for each of the first 50,000 wishes it receives.
I Can is a Golden Jubilee charity. The Queen has suggested six charities for the public to donate to in order to mark the event.
The retailer is hoping to generate further funds for I Can through a series of official Jubilee activities, including street parties over the bank holiday weekend and a Rainbow Day, where children wear clothes in the colours of the rainbow at school.
