FUNDRAISING NEWS: I CAN thinks big with fundraising rhymes

Children's charity I CAN is aiming to beat the £100,000 raised last year with the return of its Chatterbox Challenge, to run for one week next February.

Designed to help children with speech and language difficulties, last year's fundraising event saw about 75,000 pre-school children sponsored to practise and perform nursery rhymes.

The charity is calling on nursery workers, teachers and others who work with young children, to take part by registering their nursery and playgroups at www.ican.org.uk.

Pack materials were funded by Tesco Baby and Toddler Club.
