Charity People, the not-for-profit sector recruitment company, is offering to make a charitable donation for each hit to its website, www.charitypeople.com, from charity sites that link to it.
The recruitment agency has talked to charities including Help the Aged, Greenpeace and British Heart Foundation about what it hopes will become a lucrative revenue source for them, as well as driving traffic to its site.
"A lot of people who want to work for charities go to the major brand names first and might not be aware of agencies," said Danny Swift, the website's project director. "It is taking the idea of swapping links a step further."
Charity People is still negotiating with prospective beneficiaries over the level of its donations.
