FUNDRAISING NEWS: Naomi House adds net shopping site

Children's hospice Naomi House has launched an online shopping service in an effort to boost funds.

Supporters will be able to buy a range of merchandise such as Christmas cards, toys and Teddy Bears using a credit or debit card through

"The capacity not only to sell merchandise but also to sell tickets for events is quite revolutionary for a small charity such as ourselves,

said Hugh Thompson, manager at Naomi House.

Naomi House serves children in southern central England, and has to raise around £1.5 million a year in voluntary income to maintain services.
