FUNDRAISING NEWS: Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre may have to close

A rape support charity says it is unable to cope with the volume of calls it receives and may have to close unless it secures more funding. Croydon's Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre, which operates on grants totalling £60,000-a-year and has two full-time staff, fields 6,500 calls each year but claims twice as many try to get through.
