Fundraising News: Select pair score after The Match

NCH and the Chicken Shed Theatre Company are each set to receive £85,000 from money raised as a result of last year's 'reality football' TV show The Match.

The money is to be donated by BSkyB and was raised by ticket sales, merchandise, interactive voting and competitions linked with the series, which involved celebrities receiving football training over seven days and those who were not evicted competing against former Premiership footballers.

Chicken Shed is Sky's charity partner from 2004 to 2007 and will use the money to broaden its reach to audiences across the UK. NCH was chosen to benefit because it was runner-up to Chicken Shed in the partnership race.
