Fundraising News: The things they do

Bouncing Black Olympic silver medallist Roger Black is used to moving at speed, but rarely on a spacehopper - the former 400m runner was promoting the Big Bounce fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The event takes place on 22 April, during Cystic Fibrosis Week, and the charity hopes thousands of supporters will be bouncing across the UK to help the 7,500 young people who suffer from the disease. Launching the event at Epsom and Ewell High School, Black said: "My nephew has cystic fibrosis, so I see the everyday effects it can have on a child and their family." Other celebrity backers include Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan.
