FUNDRAISING NEWS: Young golfers play in pants for charity

Four young golfers from Manchester abandoned their club's dress code for charity last week when they played a round wearing just their boxer shorts to raise funds for the British Lung Foundation.

Andrew Berryman, Ben Lepke, Adam Dickin and Kyle Holcroft took up the challenge at High Legh Park Golf Club in Cheshire. The teenagers expect to raise more than £1,000.

Berryman was inspired to organise the event after taking over as junior club captain. "Last year the junior captain ran a fundraising event, so I thought I would follow on from that but do something a little different," he said.
